Aims:
To comply with the Safety Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005. To enhance the level of performance of the driving task by increasing knowledge, improving understanding, developing interpretive skills, fostering improved environmental awareness and aiding the development of better anticipation.

Topics covered include – managing risk, enhanced observation, drink-drugs driving, vehicle maintenance, law and the driver, signs and signals, stopping and parking, passenger safety, accident procedure, first –aid, aquaplaning and skidding, tachograph and driver’s hours. Night driving, winter driving, speed and overtaking, anticipation, turning and cornering.
A confidential written report will sent to the employer following training.
